BitBeater™ Auto Sales Software Demo for Car Dealers
 

The BitBeater demo is a fully functional copy of our auto sales software for managing used car lots.  We include sample company name, customer and and automobile data. You can use the demo for 15 days, then you must purchase a license from PCOM to activate and continue to use the program.   You can also request a 30 day license without any data so you can load your own car customer data and business name and try the program out on your actual business information.  To request a 30 day license simply send us an email request.

What's in the demo ?

The demo has three Customers, two Purchase Orders, one Time or Demand Note, and forty six vehicles in the records. You can experiment with those records, or delete them, rebuild the indexes (from the Main Menu, Utilities>Rebuild Indexes) and enter your own data.

Just click the free download text above to download a copy of our automobile sales software.  Save file and run the file, a self extracting program that will automatically install the program on your computer.

 

 


Important Vista Installation Notes:

BitBeater is Microsoft Vista compatible however there are numerous security changes in Vista which require you to TURN OFF the "User Account Control" (UAC) feature in Vista when you install or un-install programs.

To install BitBeater auto sales software you will need to turn off UAC first (see instructions below) then after installation TURN UAC back on and Operations will run properly.

To turn UAC off and back on:

1) Click on Start>Settings>Control Panel
2) Double click on "User Accounts".
3) Click on "Turn User Control Account on or off".
4) When Vista asks for permission click on "Continue".
5) At the User Account Control screen, click on the checkbox to select whether
you want to turn UAC on or off.
6) Click on the "OK" button.

 

  
 
 
 

Tips on Installing and Running The BitBeater Car Dealer Software Demo

You will have two options for installing the demo when you download the file:

1) You can click “Run” when prompted to download and the demo will download a copy and immediately install on your computer.  Just follow the instructions. The demo will be installed, an icon will be placed in your Start Menu as well as your Desktop.

2) You can also click “Save”.  The BitBeaterDemo.exe file will be saved to your computer to whatever location you specify. When you are ready to install the demo, just double click on the file and follow the instructions.  The demo will be installed and an icon will be placed in your Start Menu as well as your Desktop.  You also have a copy of the install program on your computer.  Feel free to share the demo file with friends or others who want to try out BitBeater.

3) When setup is complete, click on Start>Programs>BitBeater> BitBeater.  The first time BitBeater loads and you will be presented with the licensing agreement. You must agree by clicking on the "I Agree" button to proceed. 

4) After agreeing you will see a screen that will prompt you to select your state.  This allows BitBeater to load your state specific form set.  Please note you can run the demo with any form set but if you don't see your from set please call us or drop us an email.  We can add your state specific form set within 24 hours at NO CHARGE to you.  We want you to try the demo and to be totally comfortable with our software before you buy it. 

5) You are now ready to try BitBeater.  Each time you start BitBeater you will be asked for your password.  The password for the demo is "demo".  Simply enter demo and you will see the BitBeater main menu.

6)You can access "Help" by pressing the "F1 Function Key" or click on "Help" in the menu at the top of the screen.  In the help file there are detailed directions for setting up BitBeater and well as how to use BitBeater features.  Experiment with the data to see how versatile BitBeater is.



Un-Installing The BitBeater Auto Dealer Software Demo

An un-install utility is included with the demo. It's in the Program Menu.

Just click: Start>Programs>BitBeater Demo>Un install BitBeater Demo

You can also un install the demo by clicking:Start>Settings>Control Panel>Add or Remove Programs> BitBeater>Change/Remove BitBeater will be uninstalled and icons removed.
