Can I run multiple copies ?
Yes, our software is network ready. You can add as many users at your network will allow. We do not charge any additional fees for additional users however you must purchase another license if you want to run BitBeater at a second location. Please contact us for special discounts on additional licenses.
Will my accountant let me use your used car lot software ?
We've had a number of accountants and bookkeepers purchase BitBeater car lot software and tell us that our software is exactly what they were looking for. If your accountant has any questions we suggest they download a demo copy or request a 30 day evaluation license. Is BitBeater Microsoft Vista compatible ?
Yes, PCOM Operations is Microsoft Vista compatible however there are numerous security changes in Vista which require you to TURN OFF the "User Account Control" (UAC) feature in Vista when you install or un-install programs.
To install Operations you will need to turn off UAC first (see instructions below) then after installation TURN UAC back on and Operations will run properly.
To turn UAC off and back on:
1) Click on Start>Settings>Control Panel
2) Double click on "User Accounts".
3) Click on "Turn User Control Account on or off".
4) When Vista asks for permission click on "Continue".
5) At the User Account Control screen, click on the checkbox to select whether
you want to turn UAC on or off.
6) Click on the "OK" button.
How do you calculate payments and what standards do you use ?
BitBeater's APR calculator is compliant with the U.S. Rule and federal truth in lending laws and has also been approved by the State of Texas Office of Consumer Credit Commissioner (OCCC). The OCCC relies on APR calculation methods based on FED APR standards. Very few car lot programs comply with these strict FED APR calculation standards. Interest calculations are simple interest and BitBeater has a safety feature to prevent compound interest calculations.
Is BitBeater networkable?
Yes. In fact the standard version has network and multi-user features built in. No additional fees or license upgrades are necessary.

How do I start the demo - what's the password for the demo ?
After installation simply click on the BitBeater Icon. The demo password is "DEMO". Type demo into the start up screen when asked for your password.
What can I do with the BitBeater Demo?
The demo will provide you with a fully functional program with sample car lot data already entered. The
only limitation is after 15 days you must purchase a license to continue to use the software.
You can also contact us for a 30 day license which will allow you to enter your own information and actually use the software at your car lot for 30 days giving you a chance to test drive the software in a real world scenario. Just call or email us to request a 30 day license.

Can I still use BitBeater
Yes but it's best to insure your state form set is correct. Some forms may be unique to your state. If you don't see your form set we will include you state forms for FREE. Simply drop us an email or give us a call so we can arrange to get a copy of your state forms and we will incorporate them into our software. Adding a new form set can usually be done in 24 hours.
